You are a First Year applicant if you will graduate from high school in 2026 (even if you will earn college credits while in high school). You are also a First Year applicant if you have graduated from high school, but have NOT enrolled at a college, university, or any other school after high school.

You are a Transfer applicant if you are a high school graduate who has enrolled at a college, university, or any other school after graduating from high school.

You are a PSEO applicant if you are a Minnesota resident who will be enrolled as a high school junior or senior who is on track to graduate from high school and want to take classes for college credit through the Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program at UMN Morris. Students must meet the Minnesota Department of Education criteria (click on the "Postsecondary Enrollment Options Reference Guide"). Students who hold J-1, J-2, F-1, F-2 or B visas are not eligible to participate in PSEO.

Full-time, on-campus student (3-4 classes, 12 or more credits)

Part-time, on-campus student (1-2 classes; 11 or fewer credits)

Part-time, ONLINE ONLY student (1-2 classes, 8 or fewer credits)

Please note that UMN Morris does not typically offer a large enough selection of online courses for students to enroll as a full-time, online-only student, and may not offer the online courses you need to take to complete your high school graduation requirements.
