The skills taught and embraced at liberal arts colleges like Morris are those which chief executive officers of Fortune 500 companies recently cited as the most desired characteristics of new employees.
Nearly all (98 percent) of Morris graduates are employed within 12 months of graduation. And nearly half of all Morris graduates, which is well above the national average for public universities, enter graduate or professional schools within five years after graduation.
Morris graduates are the most satisfied in the University of Minnesota system too. In a recent survey nearly 80 percent of Morris graduates cited being “very satisfied” with their Morris experience. Ninety percent of graduates express pride in their connection and appreciate the value of their Morris degree and view it as a smart investment.
